Matthew D’Ambrosio is a senior legal, compliance and risk management executive with more than 20 years of global leadership experience in highly regulated industries, including life sciences, healthcare and retail. He currently serves as senior vice president and global chief compliance and ethics officer at Walgreens Boots Alliance, where he leads global compliance, privacy and enterprise risk management programmes. Previously, he held senior leadership roles at Sunovion Pharmaceuticals (Sumitomo Pharma America),  Dr. Reddy’s Laboratories, Reliant Pharmaceuticals and Johnson & Johnson. Mr D’Ambrosio brings deep expertise in corporate governance, risk management and regulatory strategy, with a focus on building ethical cultures and practical compliance frameworks that support business growth. He holds a JD in health law and policy, an MBA in international business and a graduate certificate in AI ethics and philosophy, and has been recognised by PharmaVOICE as one of the “100 Most Inspiring People in the Life Sciences Industry”.
